Combating Crisis in Honduras: Our Partnership for Change

Honduras is one of the poorest nations in Central America. According to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in the last year, the number of people requiring humanitarian aid has increased more than 75 percent. Now, because of the impacts of COVID-19, consecutive years of drought, severe food insecurity, continued high levels of violence and persecution, and back- to-back hurricanes last November, more than ten million people are in need of humanitarian assistance.

BUYONE BUILDONE has partnered with Foundation for a Higher Good and local missionary, Jonathan Rivas for many years. Together with the help of local churches and missions teams sent from the U.S., Jonathan oversees the construction of homes for the most vulnerable in his community. It takes very few resources to provide life- changing support. Though these homes are very basic, they are a tremendous blessing to the families that receive them. What a joy and privilege it is to give back in ways that make a difference and touch live.
