In the heart of El Salvador, nestled among the hills of a rural village, the Aquino family lived in a small, weathered structure that lacked basic necessities many take for granted—electricity, clean water, and a secure roof overhead. Despite these hardships, Lorenzo Aquino, a devoted father of three, woke up each morning with determination etched into his soul. With limited resources and no steady employment, he found a way to provide for his family by selling humble cabbage sandwiches on the street for just $0.25 each. It wasn’t much, but it was honest work, and it kept hope alive.
His wife, Maria, stood beside him with quiet strength, nurturing their children and instilling in them the values of faith, perseverance, and the importance of education. Though their surroundings were harsh, the Aquino family radiated warmth and resilience. Their unwavering belief in Jesus served as a guiding light, helping them navigate the darkness of poverty with grace and gratitude.
Education was their beacon of hope. Lorenzo and Maria encouraged their children to study diligently, believing that knowledge could unlock doors that poverty had long kept shut. Even when school supplies were scarce and the walk to school was long, the children pressed forward, inspired by their parents’ sacrifices and dreams for a better future.
Then, a miracle arrived.
Through the compassionate partnership between BUYONE BUILDONE and Loving With Mercy, the Aquino family received a life-changing gift—a brand-new home. This wasn’t just a structure of bricks and mortar; it was a symbol of dignity, safety, and possibility. For the first time, the family had a roof that didn’t leak, walls that protected them from the elements, and a place where their children could study without fear.
The impact of this gesture rippled far beyond the Aquino household. It became a testament to what can happen when communities come together in love and generosity. Their story is one of resilience, faith, and the transformative power of support. It reminds us that even in the most challenging circumstances, hope can flourish—and that every act of kindness can help build a brighter future for families like the Aquinos.

Loving With Mercy Ministry
We are a non-profit Christian organization, that was born in the Heart of The Lord in year 2000. We work around El Salvador preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, helping the poor as many ways as we can. Working through the local churches, thousands of people hear the Word of God. Many open their hearts to The Lord and receive healing.
We believe that the love of God transforms lives. We combine evangelistic work with material relief; in order to propagate the message of Christ and show the world His love in both action and word.
