Liberia group home for special needs children

Ever since Hope for Home’s opened a village for children with special needs in Liberia, a large number of children have been brought to them in desperate shape. Due to the cultural attitude towards disability; many people see children with special needs as being demons. It is not uncommon that the children are murdered or allowed to starve. The Hope for Home ministry team in Liberia encounters families who are continually abusing or allowing their children to die. This goes against their hearts, so they take these children into their homes. As a result, the village is growing. With Buy One Build One assistance, Hope for Home was able to build a second group home to receive even more children. They were also able to build a kitchen and a therapy/education center.
